Cabildo Insular de La Palma full extraordinary session of 12/30/1999
SUBJECT No. 4.- Approval of the logo of the Insular Council
Unanimously by the Councilors, the inclusion of the matter on the Agenda is ratified. Next, the Plenary, unanimously by the attendees, approves the Logo of this Hon. Insular Council, according to the graphic image that is included in the file, the technical characteristics of the logo being the following:
- CHROMATISM: GREEN (PALM TREE), PANTONE COATED 369 (YELLOW 73.9 - PRO. BLUE 24.6 - BLACK 1.5) BLUE (OCEAN / CONTOUR), PANTONE COATED 2935. (PRO. BLUE 62.5 - REF. BLUE 37.5).
- Likewise, the characteristics of the Logo / Typography are as follows: HELVÉTICA .
- CHROMATISM: BLUE, PANTONE COATED 2935 (PRO. BLUE 62.5 REF. BLUE 37.5).

Heraldic shield and flag:
DECREE 2921/1975, OF OCTOBER 31, which authorizes the Island Council of La Palma of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to adopt its municipal heraldic shield. ORDER of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands of November 26, 1990, approving the flag of the island of La Palma.
