Industry and Energy
Promote energy rehabilitation in the island territory by promoting and managing actions aimed at developing a more sustainable model within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Classified activities
With the entry into force of Law 7/2011, of April 5, on classified activities and public shows and other complementary administrative measures of the Government of the Canary Islands and its implementing regulations, it corresponds to the Island Councils the powers, among others:
- The processing and resolution of the instruments of prior intervention in the matter of classified activities and public shows when they are projected on two or more municipal terms.
- Exercises of high surveillance, verification, inspection, review that affect classified activities and public shows of a municipal nature, when there is inactivity on the part of the Local Entity or proposing corrective measures to the council.
Industry
The Cabildo de la Palma promotes a revitalization of the economy in the industrial fabric of the island.
Energy
The commitment of this Island Council for a rational and efficient use of energy that promotes the massive implementation of renewable energies on the island.
